Rev. Suzanne Dunn, Pastor

Reverend Suzanne Dunn, SFCC (Sister for Christian Community), Pastor of the Catholic Church of the Beatitudes, was ordained a Roman Catholic Womanpriest on September 7, 2008. Suzanne holds a master’s degree in Religious Studies from Seattle University and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. She is currently an Assistant Program Coordinator for the Western region of Roman Catholic Womenpriests USA.

Rev. Jeannette Bertalan Love, Associate Pastor

Reverend Jeannette Bertalan Love, Associate Pastor, was ordained a Roman Catholic Womanpriest on September 12, 2010. She was a religious sister for 19 years. Jeannette received a master’s degree through the University of Creation Spirituality conferred by Naropa University in Boulder, CO. She is currently an Assistant Program Coordinator for the Western region of Roman Catholic Womenpriests USA.

Cindy Yoshitomi

Cindy grew up in Los Angeles, in an interfaith neighborhood. Her calling to serve God's people came early in her twenties. She has spent nearly twenty years working as a Campus Minister at UCLA, Occidental College, and a Catholic high school. She has worked as an Interfaith Minister, RCIA Director, Marriage Preparation Counselor, and as a wife and mother. She has been married to Jerry Yoshitomi for 43 years. She is currently helping to form an Intentional Eucharistic Community in Ventura County, which will be a sister community to the Catholic Church of the Beatitudes in Santa Barbara. Facilitating centering prayer and home Masses are gifts she brings to the RCWP community, as well as personal interest in twelve-step programs and spiritual direction for those struggling with life questions. She looks forward to becoming a grandmother for the first time in January, and is continuing her preparation for ordination to the priesthood later in 2012.
